I heard it from the spouse of one of the committee members that there will be an official BUGGY EVENT at the 13th annual Washington State International Kite Festival. Running from August 15th through the 21st, it should be a record setter for sure. The best low tides of the week will be on Saturday and Sunday mornings at about 7:00 am. Both days will be MINUS tides of -1.1 FT! This should provide huge expanses of hard wet sand to cruise. If you are planning to come, early reservations areended. At this time some type of Demo is scheduled for the afternoon of Monday Aug 15th on the beach between Bolstad and Tenth. This is the main competition fields area. The rest of the week open Buggying is scheduled from Tenth to the South City Limits. Remember that this is a tentative schedule and could be changed depending on the WSIKF Committee. There are still many things to be determined about the event and it's timing. If anyone is planning to attend WSIKF and would be interested in helping to run this event, please contact me via E-mail.
