Just wondering what the group has heard re new Icarex type materials.

Someone told me that there were going to be anouncements at the KTA.
He was told to keep mouth shut.

Then I see something re R-KET and "Icarox", from europe. Whatever that is ?
Did I miss a joke here ?

And what about that secret material in the R-KET spars ???

Anybody care to expand this quest ?

I'm stumped

There is another kind of ripstop polyester out there; Skynasaur
(I have forgotten the new name) uses it in the Competition
Quadtracks. One of their representatives wouldn't tell me what
the brand is, or anything about it.

I suspect that the cat will be out of the bag after KTA.

It will be nice to have some selection in the polyester market;
better than this monopoly Shanti has over it.

Maybe I'll make that 8m sputnik.

Hi,

I followed carefully and the R-KET uses Icarot not Icarox. I don't know what
material this is, but it must be good...

By the way, I am not a believer in Kite Gods.

I cannot confirm or deny the existence of a Kite God, but we have
seen the Kite Oracle's words of wisdom appear in this forum from
time-to-time. Haven't seen a trace him/her of late, must be busy
flying or making kites...
