Subject: KTA Convention Schedule and Costs


There have been lots of questions about the Kite Trade Association 
Convention schedule in January. Registration forms arrived today 
so here is what I know:

The cost of attending the entire event is $80 for members and $125 
for non-members. But you can attend just the Trade Show for 
free if you register before December 30. You must, however, show 
proof that you are  a valid business. All events are at the Town and 
Country Hotel in San Diego.

 Tue, Jan 9	Product Demonstrations (3-5 pm) 
		Retail Discussion Groups (8-10 pm)
 Wed, Jan 10	Retail Discussion Groups (9am - 12 noon)
		Trade Show (1-7 pm)
		Reception and Discussion Groups (8-10pm)
 Thu, Jan 11	Business Meeting (9am - 12 noon)
		Trade Show (1-6 pm)
 Fri, Jan 12	Presentation and Workshops (9am-2pm)
			featuring Bill Ochse from The Kite Loft
		Trade Show (2:20 - 7 pm)
		Retailer/Manufacturer Discussion Groups (8-10 pm)
 Sat, Jan 13	Trade Show (8 am - 12 noon)
		Product Demonstrations (2-5pm)
		Award Banquet (7-10 pm)

No information is detailed about *where* the product 
demos will be.
