Subject: Event Announcement - Nottinghamshire (UK)


Ashfield Kite Festival is being organised by The Midlands Kite Fliers
and Ashfield District Council.

Venue:  The Lawn Park, Station Road, Sutton in Ashfield,
Nottinghamshire 

Date:  Sunday 29th October 1995
Time:  10.00am until 4.30pm.  

Displays of spectacular single line kites and windsocks, artistic
kites and sport kites will take place all day (weather permitting).  

A massive park with plenty of space for everyone to bring their own
kites.

Children can make their own kite in the workshop for a small charge
between 11am - 4pm.

Free children's quiz with prizes presented at the end of the day.

Specialist kite retailers, food stalls, fun fair, roving musicians,
face painting, bouncy castle and lots more.

Admission and car parking all free.  Arena-side parking for card
carrying kite club members.

Signposted from the M1 at Junction 28.  Follow the A38 towards
Mansfield for about five miles.  Turn left into Station Road at
traffic lights.  The Lawn Park is 400 yards on your right.
