I won't type in everything, but here are the weights and the stiffnesses of the various spars. Note: The stiffness is the deflection, in inches, of the spar when a 2 pound weight is hung from the center of the spar across a 26 inch span. This is known as the "spine" for arrows. The weight is in grams for a 32.5 inch spar. spar spine weight -------------------------------------- Ultralite 13 .95 9.52 Ultralite 14 .73 10.08 Ultralite 15 .56 11.09 Ultralite 16 .45 11.48 Pro Competition 14 .49 14.95 Pro Competition 15 .25 18.85 Pro Competition 16 .16 23.07 Strong 14 .47 17.87 Strong 15 .37 19.17 Strong 16 .29 21.45 Light 13 .73 13.32 Light 14 .52 14.62 Light 15 .39 17.55 Light 16 .29 20.39 Cheers! -- Marty Sasaki Harvard University Sasaki Kite Fabrications sasaki@noc.harvard.edu Network Services Division 26 Green Street 617-496-4320 10 Ware Street Jamaica Plain, MA 02130 Cambridge, MA 02138-4002 phone/fax: 617-522-8546 = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
