Is this possible? How so? The two primary ways are: 1. Attach a second set of lines about 3 to 4 inches below the original tow points. You will also need to move the original tow point toward the nose of the kite, about 1 inch. Make new handles from about 3/4 inch diameter by 14 inch long wooden dowel. Drill a hole 1 inch in from each end and attach the fly lines accordingly. Normal flight is from the top set of lines and then when you want to put on the brakes, you simply rotate the handles to create tension in the bottom lines. 2. Make yourself a second set of long bridle lines. These will be attached, one on each side of the kite, between the leading edge bottom spreader connections and the center spine, bottom spreader connection. Now attach a second set of fly lines to these new bridle lines at a point directly below the original tow point. This method will provide a better possibility of casuing the kite to back up. You can experiment with moving the bottom line attachments toward the leading edge and toward the center spine to see what position best suits the control that you prefer. You should realize that no modification of a Delta will cause it to fly anywhere near what the Revolution does, However you can achieve some very interesting performance characteristics.
