They spin in the wind, usually slowly, attached to a ground anchor or even as sky laundry on a kite line. When attached to the ground they do lift a little, or rather, bounce up and down. Must have something to do with how the bowl's curvature differs from top to bottom? Pay no attention if anyone spams you about a uuencoded pic on this group. You gave plenty and proper advance warning in your subject line and no one had to even read the post unless they wanted to. Sometimes the best way to transfer information is with a picture. Thanks. Those without the horsepower in their systems should upgrade rather than gripe. If not, they'll soon be left in the dust. Sometimes the best way to >transfer information is with a picture. Thanks. I'm not complaining, but I think people are justified if they do. Remember that many people pay to download their news through per-byte usage of some internet providers and phone bills. One uuencoded binary is worth many, many pages of mindless and off-topic discussion about glass flowing, etc. The proper action should have been to upload the picture to the hawaii site, or post it to alt.binaries.misc with a message posted to this group telling us where to get it if we want it. As I said, I'm not flaming so don't anyone get offended, but hopefully this should let people know how best to handle this in the future. As Mike said, thanks for taking the time to scan and post it anyway. A Andy Wardley is the man from abw@peritas.demon.co.uk.
