(1-800-827-6364) Subject: Re: Wanted: Review of KTA Just a short one, Very colorful. New kites of interest: Thunderbird by Flying Wings 1-14 mph Every thing by Prism A new Quad line called the Symphony (very Interesting) Some cool looking kites by Nevada Kite and Ski Flexifoil has a new trick kite.....Stranger and it is. Nice foils too! Aerie Kite works has some good flyers I flew while I was there. The new K-2 Si flew Great! and I liked the Air fx too! Many good quality introduction sport kites that will surely get more new people involved this year at a low price. Skynasaur made a incredible showing with the Quad track display, and double X lite tracer (finally a good ultra lite 175 Grams) with The world famous David Brittain at the controls. Spectra Star had a wonderful booth with lots of new kites like Scott Augenbaughs TRIX and then of course the Reactor series that I know already for a fact flys great and will do very well for them this year. They have a new quad line as well. Carribean kites made a nice showing and won the best booth award with nice kites, good fun sales video, a palm tree and my favorite, Red stripe beer. This was my 5th trade show and I must say that it is the best one I have been to. Many new products, good prices, and a lot of new people too. The internationals were there in force and made a good showing. Many of my French friends were there and Germans too. It seems that most people that I met from my Flight Schools were there. H.Q. kites From Germany has some good kites that I was able to fly and they are very good for our market. The Trementana is a 8 ft wingspan 4 stand off smooth flyer that we will all be available here in the states very soon. Also the Session a six foot kite that is very fast and responsive. Also, some guy was there pushing his training videos that seemed to go over very well. After words, a few of us went north to Cresent beach to go buggying. I left yesterday but most of them are still there having a great time. The beach is small and the wind is off the land, but it is still buggying. Wish I could say more, but all in all it was a great show and a wonderful time. Dodd Gross A disclaimer: I am a wholesaler and a retailer of kites and my opinions could be viewed as bias, but I am a flyer first.
