The kite is the most radical in the Skynasaur line. The high aspect ratio and deep cambered sail makes the Slicer capable of all the hotest tricks and, with its uniquely adjustable bridle system,it can turn from a tame, well mannered kite into a radical super performer. Product Specs. exp. level: inter-exp. wingspan: 99'' wind range: 2-15 The information given here is from the Slicer model guide ( comes with kite ) We will be trying our demo kite this weekend and we will give you an update. also , In our catalog which will be mailed next week, included will be a flier on the slicer. Really different feel to it. Forward speed was iffy, but this allowed fer some pretty cool trix. Seemed like a combo between the little sister(for size) and stranger( in its shape) for lack of better comparisons. Recoverability, quick turns were smooth. As with all kites that make a departure from the norm(whatever that is) it will take a while to explore and learn all the things it can do. Prism contingent made the little kite really sing. Brian Vanderslice will be at the Berkeley Festival this coming weekend, so check him out in the big winds of the Marina. dave arnold>>>wishing he was goin' to bezerkely, but havta go to gainseville for oxo lessons. = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Date: Mon, 31 Jul 1995 11:49:04 -1000 From: hayden1009@aol.com (Hayden1009) Message-Id: <3vjj4g$30f@newsbf02.news.aol.com> Organization: America Online, Inc. I love the Strangers and thought the flight characteristics looked similar. I also liked Brian's ballet, some of the other judges felt it was too full of radical tricks. Hey, life isn't precise. Anyway, Donny O. let me try his Slicer and I was real shocked/dissapointed, it tracked well, turned tight and sure, etc.. Until he said, oh you want radical. Don tweeked the Slicer and it was great fun. Interesting a kite that fulfills both a stable performance and a bag o' tricks when adjusted. Fun.
