Just finished *devouring* the Kitelines issue with the article on Korean Fighters (Pierre Fabre and Mel Govig). Now determined to have another go at building and flying one of these and just looking for clarification on a couple of issues: SPARS - any hints on the diameters that would be appropriate (in f'glass or bamboo) SPOOL (1)- Does the spool spin on its handle or is it rigidly attached? (2)- Why is the spool handle so long - balance? (3)- Is the spool rotated by the left hand on the handle and spokes, or only by the right hand "cranking" on the other end? LINE LENGTH - I'm continually seeing references to 1,000's of feet of line wrt to fighters... yet I'm typically flying on a few hundred max. What is the story ? BTW - any comments on the KL feature - particularly anything that might mislead a constructor/flyer? (I'll be bridling as per diag. in DGomberg's book, and leaving the centre bridle slackish as per the KL feature) I've seen a few bods here who seem to know a bit about fighters, so........ = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
