I just got back from 4 days on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
Unfortunately, I didn't take any really-high-wind kites with me
so I didn't do much flying. For example, on Thursday the wind
gusts were exceeding the temperature...38F vs 40+MPH. Anyway, while
looking around the Kitty Hawk Kites store, I mentioned Rec.Kites to
the store manager and he gave me a demo of their new WWW page. It's
quite impressive and still growing. The URL is:

Most of the kite stuff will be found under the "Flight Deck" heading.
There's a lot of hang gliding stuff here as well. There is more than
a little rivalry between the kiters and the hang gliders to see
who can create the best and most extensive pages.
