You recently (couple of days ago) put me on the e-mail maillist for
rec.kites, at my request.

REC.KITES seems to be a superb group.  I'm new to kites.  I have a couple
of near-hi tech 2line deltas which I am slowly conquering.  I find 
REC.KITES to be full of really good stuff.  Congrats.
The other point is that I am also new to Internet, e-mail, et al.  I didn't
realize that REC.KITES would bring so much stuff into my mailbox - more
stuff than I can handle.  Better for me to just browse REC.KITES on 'rn'
