The 10th International Washington Kite Festival - July 1st & 2nd 1995 Tyne & Wear, England Every year before the Washington Kite Festival we invite four foreign kite makers to go into local schools to demonstrate how to make a simple kite (a sled or similar) and also to participate in the festival. We normally invite two Japanese and two European Kite makers. We pay all travelling expenses, kite making materials. Provide accommodation and pay a fee of about #200 for a 5 day week. We hope Mr & Mrs Eiji Ohashi will be our Japanese kite makers and I am looking for two European kite makers - male or female or a couple who can speak a little English. They will have an assistant each to help in school. The kite makers will be required from the weekend of 3rd/4th June until 3rd/4th July 1995. Anyone interested should contact Malcolm Goodman Telephone/Fax: +44 (0)1642 550827. If I cannot find two Europeans who can spare 4 weeks, I would consider 4 kitemakers who could do 2 weeks each. -- The Kite Society of Great Britain = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
