Here is the basic idea: - You call a number in the continental USA. It might be a toll call. - A computer voice asks you to enter a code for the product that you want information about. - You enter the number for the Katana. - You are instructed to start a receive of a fax. - The computer faxes you a sheet of information about the Katana. Aside from the cost of the long distance call, the service would be free. So, would you be interested in such a service? How much would you use it if it was available? Send your reponse via email unless you have something more to say than yes or no... If the fax contains a good, legitimate plan - not a ripoff, I would call immediately:-) even if the service would cost something else than international looong distance call... As it is, I print out enough kite stuff at work. :-) However, I'd love to have access to this kind of thing on the net. I love the archive at ftp.hawaii.edu, and I've raided it regularly for pictures and goodies, but I'd like to see even more stuff available for browsing. I've long thought that rec.kites was ripe for multi-media, since we have so much need to share interesting pictures and plans and all of the rest. Has anybody thought about coming up with a WWW/Mosaic style archive? I almost hate to suggest this, because I don't have the resources to do it, but it sure would be great to see. Similarly, a mailing list for MIME stuff would be pretty cool... Looking forward to watching an MPEG video of an axel, Kevin kml@rokkaku.atl.ga.us = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
