It is also my understanding that around the time of the Dieppe festival there is a festival in the south of France in Monpellier (Sp?). If anyone has information on this, or an address for more information, I would appreciate it. carl -- crowell@teleport.COM Public Access User --- Not affiliated with TECHbooks Public Access UNIX and Internet at (503) 220-1016 (2400-14400, N81) = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Date: Sat, 11 Jun 1994 10:39:31 -1000 From: 100255.116@CompuServe.COM (Gill Bloom) Message-Id: <940611203931_100255.116_BHB23-1@CompuServe.COM> Organization: Division of Applied Sciences, Harvard University Subject: Dieppe Festival Question Having been to all the Dieppe festivals since they started we can tell you that the weather can vary from bitter cold winds with heavy rain to brilliant blue sky and the perect steady on-shore breeze. So the answer to your question is really - who knows? As with these things bring a choice (or layers). To take advantage of the Dieppe hospitality (free evening meal, cheap accommodation) you should register with the organisers of the festival by contacting Dieppe Capitale du Cerf-volant, Les Tourelles, Bd de Verdun, 76200 Dieppe. Telephone + 33 32 90 04 95. Fax + 33 32 90 07 72. Do this by August 14th. With reference to Montpelier - the dates are 3rd & 4th September, the event is called "Les 24 heures du vent" and the contact is Claude Comallonga telephone France 67 59 13 27.
