I guess the first thing you need to know is how long to make the spine, front and wing-tip lines, and then how best to make all the attachments. Is there some kind of mathematical formula that's used as a standard to come up with the correct lengths of the three lines? = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Date: Thu, 13 Apr 1995 16:45:19 -1000 From: windcarver@aol.com (Windcarver) Message-Id: <3mknjv$gth@newsbf02.news.aol.com> Organization: America Online, Inc. I would also recommend Pelhams book "Kites" published by Penguin. One item of interest I notice today, was his description of the shadow affect on turns, that is one side of the kite creating a "wind shadow" for the other side during a turn.
